Turning Point International is a show that discusses the culture in Africa. The youth, social structures and spirituality. The goal is to meet the need of the culture while also documenting the changes that take place. Elements used were to give a sense of the people in Africa and the cultural climate. What I have displayed are the 2010 open and the latest 2013 open. The 2010 open won the CBC Media Award in 2012 held in London.
History is full of stories where prayers thrust people into glory. This graphic illustrates the historical events where people have done great and mighty things. The graphics has images and dates in chronological order to take the viewer through a timeline. A parchment texture was used to reinforce the feel of history. I designed and animated all elements for this project. Sound sweetening was performed by Ryan Davidson.
